Lowering the ground level

Our restoration strategy is to remove the top level of nutrient rich soil to get to the peat at the water level. This summer,  the water line is particularly low.

Water levels are dropping this summer. This is normal but this year, the water table is measured to be a historical low. CBRG monitors the water table weekly.
